about me

For a more than a decade, I have known that I wanted to be a professional photographer. At just ten years old, I found an old Canon DSLR at the top of my dad's closet, and it changed my life. I spent most of my free time photographing everything I could think of: my pets, my little sister, the trees in my backyard, clouds in the sky. Outside of school, I don't think I spent a single minute without that camera in my hands.

At age 12, a photograph of mine won 2nd place in a national equine photography competition; at age 13, I was paid for my first family portrait session. And, in high school, I was proud to photograph my first of many, many weddings! Slowly but surely, I expanded my small business to include senior portraits, maternity photos, newborn sessions, and everything in between. During my college years, I was accepted into a rigorous internship program where I expanded and honed my photographic skills. And finally, in May of 2018, I earned my bachelor's degree in photography from the University of Nevada, Reno! Today, I am happy to say that I have watched my passion blossom into a full-fledged career.

I have explored many avenues of photography, but continue to find nothing more rewarding than portraiture. I pride myself in capturing the seconds "between" photographs - the raw, candid moments as well as the smiling.

In my spare time, I still enjoy being amidst nature with my Canon Mark IV, photographing the wildlife and surrounding landscapes.

Please, do not hesitate to contact me with any and all inquiries. I look forward to working with you!

Where wanderlust...
