Professional photographer, Las Vegas native, world traveler, crazy cat lady in-training (I’ve already got two), bookworm, craft beer enthusiast, and the most outdoorsy city girl you’ll ever meet.
Here’s the scoop:
I’ve been a photographer for about a decade now. I began running my own little photography business when I was a freshman in highschool. Now, at 26, I’m lucky enough to say my passion has blossomed into my full-time profession!
I taught myself. Well… mostly. For the first five years, it was all Youtube tutorials and practice, practice, practice (lucky for me, my dad had an old Canon camera gathering dust in the closet). Later, in college, I majored in photography and in May of 2018, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Outdoorsy is an understatement. Don’t get me wrong, I really do enjoy the city life: there’s always a concert to go to, the airport flies internationally, and your food choices are practically unlimited. But I spent much of my childhood outside the city - camping, fishing, ATVing, all kinds of cool stuff - and outside the city is still where I love to be. My weekends are often spent photographing weddings out in the desert, snowboarding, or soaking up some sunshine at the lake!
I’ve got the travel bug, and it’s bad. I’ve been to ten countries: Canada, Mexico, Iceland, Italy, France, England, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, and Greece! My sister and I make it a point to travel internationally at least once a year, but I’d like to up that a little (or a lot). So if you’re planning your dream destination wedding, but you still need a photographer, no worries - I’m there.
Here’s how it works:
Get in touch via email, text, or phone call - however you prefer communicate - and let me know what kind of photos you’re after. We’ll chat about dates, times, and locations and lock in a session! If you’re interested in a destination location, check out my travel dates. If your trips line up with mine, you’ll be able to skip my travel fees!
Check your email inbox! There you’ll find a short contract to review and sign. After that, a 50% deposit will be collected to officially reserve your spot on the calendar.
Kick back, relax, and get stoked for your photoshoot! Feel free to contact me with any questions about anything (outfit choices, potential location/date changes, or any visions or ideas you may have)! The remaining 50% of your payment will be due on the date of your photoshoot.
It’s time! Wake up and feel good about how you look. Dress in that outfit you’ve been waiting to wear, and remind yourself you’re not THAT shy in front of the camera. And have no fear - you don’t need to be a professional model to get amazing photos! I’ll be there to help coach you on posing, and to capture all your best angles.
Get ready to see your photos! In 1-3 weeks, you’ll receive an email with a link to your own custom digital gallery. There you’ll be able to view, download, and share your full-resolution photos. And if you so choose, pick a few of your favorites and contact me to get some prints (or canvases… or any other cool wall art)!
